The ranks of the members of the Iowa Freedom of Information Council have grown in recent weeks.
The new members of the council are:
Carroll Daily Times Herald
Drake University School of Journalism
Storm Lake Times
The FOI Council is a statewide coalition of businesses, organizations, educational institutions and everyday Iowans who are interested in government accountability.
The council was created 39 years ago to press for public access to government meetings and government records.
