The Iowa Freedom of Information Council is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization made up of journalists, lawyers, educators and other Iowans devoted to open government and government accountability. We educate citizens through speeches and training programs. We make our views known through letters to government officials, newspaper columns and appearances before committees of the Iowa Legislature. We welcome your questions and support.
